The Black Botanist Gin
During the Renaissance (a time of great thinking and creativity), gin was seen as a ‘cure-all’. It was even believed to be a viable cure for the Black Death.
With the recent global explosion of bijou gin distilleries each pushing the flavour boundaries to create new brands and stories, ‘The Black Botanist’ gin concept is designed to enter in this market with a darker, more unique small batch twist.
Bold, Victorian-themed branding in copper foil on a stout black bottle highlights the luxurious quality of the product, whilst ‘The Botanist’ seen lingering in the background suggests the addition of Rosehip and other floral ingredients signifying the transformation from light to dark, and life to death.
